Update Studio consists of:

• Digital Transit Update Generator. Developers use Generator to automatically track all released files and version histories, making the release of product updates quick and easy for developers and users. When new versions are released, Generator compares the new version with previous ones, identifies the differences and packages the update for rapid delivery over the Internet or other standard network. The update package is then posted to a standard Web server, where it accessed by the Digital Transit Updater.
  
  
• Digital Transit Updater. The Updater resides on the end user's smart device and periodically checks the Web server for updates. When the Updater detects that a file or component is out-of-date, it downloads the update package and transforms them into the most current version.
